Interior Decorating Ideas

I’m getting my room decorated, and I’d really like a wooden floor! But I have a big heavy metal bed, like this one; http://www.loftbedsforadults.com/loftbedsforadults1.jpg . So would a wooden floor be able to hold this bed? Also my room is fairly big, so does anyone know any (UK) cheap sites for hard wearing wooden floor?
